As a leading water company in Korean, we promote the importance and value of clean water by participating in such events as Coway Run and Grand Blue Festival.
In May 2017, we organized Coway Run in Malaysia to promote brand experience by providing opportunities to relieve thirst after running and share the value of healthy lifestyle. In Korea, Coway Run was held for our employees and customers to celebrate the World Environment Day on June 5. In order to raise awareness, the participants carried water bottles instead of torches to recreate the Olympic torch relay (Seongsu Bongsong). In addition, we donated the funds according to the number of participants who completed the 5km race to the Environmental Foundation as part of our efforts to promote the value of clean water and sharing. (Donated 10,000won per 5km (3000 people participated, donation 30 million won)
In celebration of World Water Day, designated by the United Nations, in March, we promote the importance of water. In 2018, our researchers at Coway Water Sommelier handed out water bottles to people and showcased our large-capacity water purifiers and CIROO filters to share our efforts to provide clean water as a leading water company in Korea.
Through our sponsorship for the Grand Blue Festival, an art festival based on water and the environment, we raise awareness using culture and art as a medium for communicating this message. The festival provided a variety of activities and attractions, including films, artworks, and wall painting with water themes as well as surfboard flash mobs. We will continue to support the festival with the aim of drawing attention to the importance of water.
